Eryngium yuccifollium (Rattlesnake Master)
This specimen of Rattlesnake Master show the smaller yucca-like spiky leaves near the top of the plant. It also features the clusters of flower heads. Rattlesnake Master grows to four feet in height in prairies and open, rocky savannas. Flowers appear in summer.
