Dodecatheon meadia (Shooting Star)
This specimen of Shooting Star has two individual leaves, which grow up to 8 inches long and three inches wide. It also features two sets of flower stalks. The one on the left has seven flower heads consisting of five pink reflexed petals surrounded by five green sepals. The five protruding stamens in each flower can be seen. The flower stalk on the right shows seed heads.
