Evening Star Quilt, ca. 1929
Made by Anna Swartzentruber Yoder (1877 - 1962)
Anna S. Yoder liked to use many quilting designs. In this quilt, she quilted the star blocks with double parallel lines and the sashing with feathered bands. In the green corners of the sashing strips she stitched four hearts. The double borders at the top and bottom are quilted with classic cables and the single side borders are quilted in a double pumpkin seed pattern.
Size: 66 by 74 inches
