A Nickel a Shine
Isaac Soyer (1902 - 1937)

Isaac Soyer immigrated to New York from Tombov, Russia in 1912 at the age of ten. He and his older twin brothers became artists. Isaac worked in the New York City WPA graphics program. The subjects he chose for his prints were the people he saw around him. His style is considered Social Realism.
