Hair Wrap

This beaded hair wrap was made in Minnesota by a member of the Ojibwa (Chippewa) tribe. It was collected by Charles K. Carpenter.

It is beaded in geometric motifs in pink, light blue, dark blue, medium blue, green and yellow loomed seed beads. There are purple and red wool yarn balled fringes at the ends of long tassels, each secured by a faceted iridescent blue bead.
