Stutzhaus--Hertel, Schwab & Co. This firm was founded in 1863 and made primarily porcelain doll heads and parts in Stutzhaus, Thuringia, Germany. Many porcelain dolls heads have been newly attributed to this company through old pieces and raw models found at the factory site. Evidently this company did not mark their wares. It appears that the company closed in 1890, reopened in 1910, and then continued through 1930.
