Shaman's apron

The apron is made of reindeer suede with a suede fringe and twisted cords of green cloth. Beads adorn the bottom of the apron and fur trims the sides. The interior part of the apron is decorated with bands of cloth, embroidery with colored seed beads, two iron plates, and seventeen effigies of loons. The loon is a helper spirit of the shaman and a guide in journeys through the lower world.
