Semicircular in shape with bands of white and
dark reindeer-leg fur, it is decorated with ornamental
insets embroidered with colored seed beads and hairs
from the beards of reindeer. There is a long, dense,
suede fringe along the lower edge. Sewn to the apex are
iron representations of antlers of reindeer (protector
spirits of the shaman) and pendants of dyed
ringed-seal-cub fur.
