Carved image of the spirit protector for hunting and fishing

The anthropomorphic figure is rendered without arms or legs and has a pointed head with rough facial features. It stood in the taiga on a sacred place in Pam-pugol on the Ob River.

Tobolsk region, Beryozovsky District, late nineteenth century.
