Carrol C. Hall Science Series: Build It: Backyard Habitats

Free for students in grades 6-8

Build It: Backyard Habitats is a science program designed especially for middle school students. Participants will learn about the importance of biodiversity in urban environments from a master naturalist, and then build a bird or bat house to take home.

This program is free for students in grades 6-8, but space is limited to 30 participants. Registration is required and is available online here: http://bit.ly/chall2013 or by contacting Elizabeth Bazan at (217) 782-5993.

This program is generously funded by Carrol C. Hall, long-time Springfield High School teacher and co-founder of Horace Mann Insurance Company.
