"A strong desire to draw and build 3 dimensional projects led to my interest in architecture. After receiving my B.A. in Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis, I worked in a residential architecture firm for 7 years as a project architect. Due to the concentration of my work at that time in the residential area, I found inspiration in the work of Frank Lloyd Wright and Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Their philosophy that design doesn’t stop with the actual structure of the building, but also carries through to the design of functional objects used within the structure, was influential."
