Comparison of Emergent Mississippian food utility indices (FUI) for deer for the Cahokia and Range sites vs. a standard deer. Among other interpretations, the over-representation of mid-utility parts at Cahokia may reflect either transport of higher quality deer parts to Cahokia, or different disposal practices at different sites.
