: Floods on the Illinois River
Cast Iron Plaque "to commemorate the high water and preserve the record" of several flood years in the 1800s and early 1900s. It was knocked down in the flood of 1943, salvaged when the waters receeded and given to the Meredosia Historical Society in 1986.
