Morning Duck Hunt, circa 1903 -1920.
Caption reads "Approximately 7000 Acres under water in the Indian Creed and Mills Slough area. No dry ground within 2 miles of us. Mail and drinking water from LaGrange Locks (2 mi.)."

Note the live decoy in the bow of the boat, a practice which was outlawed in 1935.
