High Water Over the Dam at LaGrange Locks, circa 1903-1920.

Caption in the album reads "Thought we could go over top one trip. Stuck and burned out engine bearing. Floated helplessly about a mile down stream. Landed on west side in dark. Fixed engine next day. Went through Locks at 4 P.M. Tied up for night. Passing ice floe gave us a bad night. Next morning river was clear and we journeyed on."
