Clyde Bell: Using muskrat houses for duck blinds

Clyde Bell: using muskrat houses for duck blinds

Clyde: The muskrat houses were built out of reeds and suchlike that and it looked like an Indian village. There'rd be a muskrat house every hundred feet, and up high. I'd stand behind them and shoot ducks, and never think of a blind. Lay my gun on top of a muskrat house and get on the leeward side because the ducks always come in against the wind. I shot many a duck on Anderson Lake from behind a muskrat house.
